Black LGBT People take centre stage in a series of events in late August/September 2007. Contrary to the view that Black LGBT people are invisible and on the margins, a series of events in August/September 2007 show the vibrancy and confidence of Black LGBT communities in the UK. These events showcase the talents of same gender loving Black people, offer opportunities to learn, be moved, meet and socialise. They also herald the fact that Black LGBT people form a central part of our society and communities; gay and Black.
